Quite agree on the poor sound quality.
I was so disappointed I left - couldn't see the point of listening to something that was mixed like a band in the local pub. Appalling quality. What a waste!
I couldn't agree more. We were in the upper tiers, and some tracks sounded awful. Rhiannon was awful. It sounded as though there was a pre-recorded backing track playing out of sync. Luckily there was plenty that sounded wonderful -- Lindsey's guitar solos were fantastic -- I'm so afraid, Oh well, Tusk. And Gold Dust Woman, for example, all sounded ace. But I felt uncomfortable about the mix. Yes, the vocals were far too quiet. No, I couldn't hear any keyboards either.

I enjoyed my night watching one of the worlds greatest bands but my comments are reflected by what I heard.
The band were great as usual but the sound engineer should have been sacked. I was in the upper area of the MAN Arena and there was a bass boom going on throughout most of the concert when the whole band was in full flight. The vocals were at times well below the level of the band and I would have loved to have heard more vocals. The keyboards were never in the mix and at times the whole sound seemd disjointed.
When Mick was doing his drum solo I could not hear or understand a word of what he was saying as it was garbled and his mike only cleared up later when he introduced the band members.
Once again I have to say thet the Band were great and everything you would expect from a bunch of expert musicians such as Fleetwood Mac but please change your sound engineer because as good as a band plays it is down to the guy on the desk to pull the whole thing together.
What a show, a big thank you for coming to manchester , great to have you back , i think like a fine wine you get better with age , fabulous fabulous concert , it will take me a week to come down. thanks again
