First Song I Ever Heard
This was the first song that I ever heard my Stevie Nicks. I was 11 years old and was watching the movie Practical magic. Of course Stevie rerecorded for this movie, but at the I was in the mist of a home filled with abuse. The words "Then I knew in the crystaline knowledge of you
Drove me through the mountains" gave me the strength, courage, and hope that I need to survive. For some reason I believed her words and prayed each day that someone would drive me through the mountains, and Stevie, along with several other did in fact lend a helping hand without ever knowing the pain that I was enduring at home.
Therefore, I owe my every breathe to this song and the amazing woman who wrote it.
